The tapestry of dreams undreamt
Weaves itself into
Incandescent beauty
Vibrant-hued vivid forms
Flowing lines caressing
Carefree strokes
My nights dwindle
Black, stark and lonesome
Flecked with pewter stars
Dreams that were
Dreams that will be
That will never live
Voiceless screams
Faceless expressions
Anorexic worries
Tearing my nights
Into slivers of black
And dirty, soiled white
Return to me my blues
My inky-glows
My shadows of neutral grey
Return to me my shades
Of living darkness
My thousand shades of black
Return to me my voice
My face
My dreams undreamt
Why do you steal from me?
When I give
To you, freely
Return to me my dreams
My life lived-unlived
Then will I weave you again
